On my first post, which by the way I decided to write in Spanish, I had a hidden message for Alex, an acrostic which spells out the title of her favorite song, did you get it?

The upcoming weekend was Memorial weekend, surprisingly enough we had no plans for a long weekend until her professor had some personal matters to attend… meaning: freedom!

Long story short, after not having concrete plans, I…

I learned the main notes of The Fields of Gold in the guitar close to midnight.

I woke up, showered, packed and started driving 6 am towards Seattle.

Washed my car in a DIY place in northern California and drove in a drive-through for the first time in my life (although I think is for lazy people and I ‘m not one).

I watched her singing in a Seattle festival with her choir.

I rode my bike in Portland (Strava) while she worked on NLP stuff.

We ate at one of the places designed for us, I highly recommend you to stop by at Yaks on the 5.

As the rule breakers we are, we swam at the Shasta lake without permission.

Oh one more detail, I proposed to Alex, she said YES!
