Last weekend, while Topi was visiting me in Seattle, from a coffee shop near Pike Place, I bought my plane ticket to Chiang Mai! One-way! I’m moving to Thailand!!
On August 26, a Friday, I will take a very early flight from Washington D.C. to San Francisco, arriving around 10am. I have about 12 hours to spend there with Topi before going back to SFO for my flight to Chiang Mai. (Actually, it’s a flight to Hong Kong, followed by a 9-hour layover in Hong Kong, and then I’ll fly to Chiang Mai.)
I should arrive around 5pm on Sunday, August 28, and my TEFL training course starts Monday morning! Even without the crazy tight schedule, the travel and jet lag alone would probably be enough to wipe me out. It’s going to be exhausting and overwhelming and stressful, and I am unbearably excited!
